COOPER HEWITT
Located in New York City, the Cooper Hewitt is the design museum for the Smithsonian.
Originally associated with the Cooper Union, it relocated to the Andrew Carnegie Mansion on Fifth Avenue. Several renovations have transformed the mansion including those by Diller Scofidio + Renfro for the display systems on the first and second floor, the shop and the entrance canopy. Display cases float in the historic rooms in contrasting materials. Visit the Cooper Hewitt for some fascinating exhibits.
Enjoy a snack in their cafe or outside in the garden on your visit.
