CENTRE POMPIDOU
Opened in 1977, the Centre Pompidou was part of redevelopment in the Les Halles neighborhood of Paris designed by Piano and Rogers.
Unfortunately it’s closed for renovation, until 2030. In the meantime, see the exhibit about the design of the center and its renovation in the Maison Pompidou. Located on the site of the former Brancusi Studio next door, the Maison Pompidou offers exhibitions, a reading area, and a gift shop while the Centre Pompidou is closed for renovations. Exhibitions, talks, tours, and workshops are focused on Centre Pompidou’s history, its architecture, and its transformation.
There’s plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby from Les Halles to the Marais. Enjoy your time in Paris.
